A Family Life Filled With Adventure and Connection

Hi! My name is Katherine (Kat) Lindsay and I am a mother to two lovely young kids. We reside in the Vancouver area and spend most of our time exploring the mountains, camping, and exploring local restaurants and cafes. I have an obsession with Cafe Mochas, as well as building a network with other local moms for meet ups, etc.

Inspired by the Power of Birth

I have always been drawn to birth work and was very excited to have come across the opportunity to apply for a scholarship with Bebo Mia. I plan to focus my work on supporting those who are planning a homebirth as I would love to be involved in that magic moment for somebody. Having just had given birth at home, it was such a life-changing and magical experience. Bebo Mia was especially drawing to me as I value the in-depth education it offers, as well as the opportunity to work at my own pace. With two little ones at home, including a four month old, this option worked perfectly for my family.

Hoping to Empower Other Growing Families

I had used a doula with my most recent birth, and I hope one day to be able to support my clients as much as she was able to support me. I felt empowered and very confident in my capabilities thanks to her and my team. Something unique about my practice will be to include some breath work and meditation if the client is interested. I found that so valuable through the end stage of my pregnancies and would love to offer that to others.

I truly am grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to study with a scholarship and would like to thank everybody who contributed to making this happen.
