Nikole Kehler

Nikole was the first of her friends group to become a mother. She is the one called upon for support, is always excited to listen and lend a helping hand. When she stumbled across a video about Bebo Mia, she had to know more. Once she learned about Doulas and the support they provide, Nikole knew it was her calling.

After Nikole’s first son was born she felt unhappy and frustrated with her experience. She realized for her it was due to the fact that she did not feel her voice was heard, and felt that they had been pushed into making uninformed decisions. The birth of her second child was a completely different experience; she had a team of incredible midwives, and realized with encouragement and confidence, birth could be a beautiful and empowering experience. Helping families have the birth experience they want, coaching them through changes in their plans, and to help families have all the options, understood, are extremely important to her. Her goal is to help families have a pleasant birth experience and make the transition to parenthood as smoothly as possible.

Nikole lives in Strathmore with her three energetic children and her supportive military husband. She enjoys spending her time outside in the garden, and making art projects with her kids.
