Kama Lee Jackson

Kama, who holds a BA of Health Sciences degree in midwifery, founded Bloom to fill a big gap in prenatal education. While teaching prenatal classes at Riverdale Community Midwives, she found women were feeling unsure about themselves, the ‘system’, the birth process, and life with a baby. Also, no one was laughing at all the hilarity that comes with pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum! She is changing that for her clients and helping them to believe in their own strength, and to feel confident about advocating for their choices. This life stuff is tricky, and she wants her clients to feel okay about feeling and saying that.
