Birth Doula

Michelle is a pregnancy and postpartum specialist serving expectant families in Southwest Ireland. Those availing of her birth doula support receive thoughtful, proactive and attentive care that is personalised for them and their unique needs. She believes all families, whether they are expecting their first or subsequent pregnancy, have the ability to enter labour feeling calm and confident versus anxious or fearful. Michelle specialises in serving families who have had a prior traumatic birth experience by nurturing their individual needs as they strive for a more positive experience this time! She helps expectant parents recognise their own inner strength during one of life’s most momentous events!

Michelle is a certified Birth & Bereavement Doula with Stillbirthday, a Birth Doula and certified Childbirth Educator with ProDoula, a trained Fertility Doula with Bebo Mia and Placenta Specialist with IPEN. Her future goals include completing Postpartum & Infant Care Doula training and Infant Feeding Specialist training with ProDoula in February of 2019! She is always looking to expand and update her knowledge so she can continue to provide a stellar service to all families.

Michelle is an expat from the United States living in County Limerick with her Irish husband and their four children.
