Jennifer Paredes

Jennifer has always enjoyed supporting families transition into parenthood. She has her Early Childhood Education Diploma (as well as her BA in Psychology) and worked for several years educating and supporting teenage moms and their babies. After having three of her own children with very different birth experiences she developed an even stronger desire to work with all parents and their families. Jennifer recognized to huge need for support for families once they brought their newborns home, which lead Jennifer to join the Bebo Mia team as a Postpartum Doula. She felt as though her experience, training and love for helping other families made this professional transition a natural one. Jennifer feels that it is a great honour to be welcomed into the homes of her clients and share in such an important time for each family.

When not working with families Jennifer enjoys spending time with her own family, marvelling everyday at how quickly her children are growing up. Jennifer and her family are avid movie watchers, love being outdoors and spending time with their extensive family and group of friends.
