Laura is an amazing licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), a Dr. Jack Newman trained International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & a bebo mia trained Infant Sleep Educator.
She worked with mothers in Thailand offering lactation support while living there with her husband and daughter.Laura is currently living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with her husband, daughter and son! She has started offering lactation education to midwives there and is excited to share her knowledge with the birth community in order to positively impact the health of families living in Ethiopia.
Ashley Pickett
Ashley is a Dr. Jack Newman trained International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Babywearing Educator, Parent Coach, Doula & a Bebo Mia trained Infant Sleep Educator. She is located in Oakville and operates a clinic out of Abaton Integrative Medicine. Ash has so much knowledge to share with us within this program!

So, I'm finishing up my last assignment for my breastfeeding course in midwifery school. I had an inkling last year before I started school that midwives did not receive enough breastfeeding education and wanted to be sure I was well prepared to support breastfeeding moms. I have talked to a good 25 different students at my school, along with a few other top midwifery schools.
