1 in 5 of the bebo mia birth clients we serve have gone through some form of fertility assistance, whether it is charting support, medications, IVF, IUI or some other support. This means that there is a period, sometimes years and years, of trying to conceive (TTC).
What I learned from watching Natasha
I watched my business partner, Natasha Marchand, go through this. I watched her grieve every month that she got her period. I watched her exhausted and stressed from her early morning trips to the fertility clinic to get shots and cycle monitoring. I watched her go through surgery after surgery and procedure after procedure. She did all of this while supporting pregnant women and new moms – talk about hand in the blender!
Gifts as you go…
There were so many gifts with this process, her beautiful, sassy & brilliant daughter Sadie being one of them. Natasha also created a wonderful bebo mia fertility program that is holistic and gentle and honest – like a hug for those TTC. She has taught me so much about this special group of women and couples.
Yahoo! Canada blogger Devon Scoble reached out to Natasha to discuss the role of the internet while you are TTC. It is a gift or a curse? Hear what Natasha had to say here.
Did you have issues with conception? Did the internet help you or make everything feel so much worse? Comment below, we would love to hear from you!
